YOUR TRUE IMAGE.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased, special people that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections, of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 AMPC).

It’s clear from our opening verse who we are and what God wants us to do: we’re the manifestation of His glory and the express image of His person. We’re His trophies, on display for the world to see. We display His virtues and perfections.

It’s important that you see yourself the way God sees you; the way the Word describes you, and not the way others see you or the way you see yourself. It’ll make your faith effective.

Sometimes, you may look at your life and think you’re really not what God says you are, but that’s because you’re focusing on the wrong thing. Take the focus off yourself; focus on the Word. Meditate on what the Word says about you; your true value, limitless potentials, and glory in Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. As you behold they glory of God in the Word (the mirror of God), you’re transfigured into the same image that you see in the Word.

The more you look at the Word, the more you know who you are. The only way you can know what your spirit is like, is to look into the Word. The Word mirrors your true image! Hallelujah!

PRAYER.

Blessed Father, thank you for your glorious Word that mirrors my true image. As I meditate on your Word, my life is transformed, and your glory is ever increasing in and through me, impacting everything and everyone around me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
